How to register a new exhibition

About registering exhibitions

On Bijusanpo, anyone with a user account can request to register an exhibition.

Before you request one, please also review the “Request criteria” below.

Request criteria

We accept requests for exhibitions that meet the following conditions:

  • Exhibitions held within Japan
  • Already-public exhibition information (private or limited-access events are not eligible)
  • Exhibitions whose primary source can be confirmed, such as an official website or a museum or gallery announcement page

If a request doesn’t meet these criteria, please understand in advance that we may decide not to list it, or may review the content after listing and remove the page.

How to request

  1. Open My Page in the app
  2. Tap “Request history” in the “Request an exhibition” section

The main fields in the modal:

  • URL — the web page URL of the exhibition you want listed (required)
  • Supplementary details — the exhibition title and so on (optional, up to 140 characters). Helpful when the information can’t be read from the URL
  • “Add to Favorites (Want to go) after registration” — when checked, the exhibition is automatically added to your “Want to go” list once registration is complete

After you submit, if your request matches an already-registered exhibition, a “Is this the same exhibition?” confirmation screen appears. If it’s the same, the existing exhibition is used; if it’s a different one, a new request is created.

Please note

  • We can’t guarantee that every request will be listed
  • It may take time before something is listed

For other inquiries and requests, please reach out via “Send feedback” on My Page.
