Guide / Mark an exhibition as Visited

Mark an exhibition as Visited

What you can do

Once you’ve seen an exhibition you added to your Want to go list, you can mark it as Visited. Visited exhibitions are kept in a few ways:

  • A stamp is added — a stamp with your visit date is overlaid faintly on the card
  • They collect under the Visited tab — listed on the Visited tab of your Favorites page
  • You can fix the visit date later — tap the date link at the bottom of the card to change it
  • You can record multiple visits — for exhibitions split into early/late periods, or when you see the same exhibition several times, you can keep each visit date

You need to log in to record visits (Google or LINE).

How to mark a visit

You record your first visit from the Want to go tab on your Favorites page.

  1. Open Favorites from the navigation at the bottom of the screen
  2. On the Want to go tab, find the card for the exhibition you saw
  3. Tap the ✓ Visited button in the bottom-right of the card
  4. Confirm the details in the modal, then tap Record as visited
  5. A stamp with your visit date is applied

Viewing your Visited exhibitions

Select Visited from the tabs at the top of the Favorites page to see the exhibitions you’ve recorded so far.

Editing visit dates and recording multiple visits

At the bottom of each card on the Visited tab, you’ll see a visit-date label and two action chips:

  • Visited on M/D label — tap it to open the visit history modal, where you can edit or delete past visit dates
  • + Visited again chip — tap it to open a date picker and add a new visit date (for early/late-period exhibitions or repeat visits)
  • ↺ Move back to Want to go chip — moves the exhibition back to your Want to go list

If you’ve visited more than once, the label reads “latest visit date · N more”.

In the visit history modal, an Edit and a Delete button appear to the right of each visit date. However, the Delete button does not appear when there is only one visit record. If you marked something as Visited by mistake or want to undo the record entirely, use the ↺ Move back to Want to go chip in the bottom-right of the card, or remove it from your Favorites.

Common stumbling points

  • Can’t find the Visited button — You can only make the first record from the Want to go tab of your Favorites. The heart icon at the top-right of an exhibition detail page is for adding to Want to go; you don’t record visits from there
  • Marked something as Visited by mistake — Open the Visited tab and use the ↺ Move back to Want to go button in the bottom-right of the card to undo it
  • The visit date shows today — Right after recording, the visit date is the day you marked it as Visited (today). If your actual visit date is different, open the visit history modal from the Visited on M/D label at the bottom of the card on the Visited tab and edit it
  • How to record visiting the same exhibition again — On the Visited tab, tap the + Visited again chip on the exhibition’s card to add another visit date
  • Want to delete the last remaining visit record — The visit history modal won’t let you delete the last record. To undo Visited, use ↺ Move back to Want to go to return it to your Want to go list, or remove it from Favorites on the exhibition detail page
