Adding a venue to your favorite venues

What you can do

You can add museums and galleries you visit often to your favorite venues. Once a venue is saved, you can use it in these ways:

• Get notified when a new exhibition starts — get a push notification when a new exhibition goes live at one of your favorite venues (notification setup required)
• See the latest status across your venues — on the Venues tab of the Favorites page, check the number of exhibitions on now for each venue you’ve saved
• Don’t miss new exhibitions thanks to the NEW badge — venues with an exhibition that recently went live get a NEW badge

Adding a venue to your favorite venues requires you to log in (Google or LINE).

How to add

1. Tap a venue name from the list, the map, or an exhibition’s details to open its venue page
2. Tap the heart to the right of the venue name
3. When the “Added to your favorite venues” toast appears, you’re done

If the heart is filled in red, it’s already saved. Tap it again and a “Remove from favorite venues?” confirmation appears; choose “Remove” to undo it.

If you tap the heart while logged out, the screen switches to the login screen. After you log in, you’ll return to the venue page, so tap the heart again to add it.

Viewing your favorite venues

Open Favorites from the navigation at the bottom of the screen and switch the tab at the top to Venues to see the venues you’ve saved.

Each card shows the following information:

• Venue name, area, and address
• Number of exhibitions on now — the number on now for the day you picked with the date pills at the top (Today / Tomorrow / Weekend / Calendar)
• NEW badge — shown on venues with an exhibition that went live within the last 7 days

Tap a card to go to the venue page, where you can see a list of exhibitions on now and upcoming at that venue.

The search box at the top of the tab lets you search for other venues by name, so you can also find and add venues that have no exhibitions this season or that you haven’t saved yet.

Getting notified when a new exhibition starts

When a new exhibition goes live at one of your favorite venues, we’ll send you a push notification.

• You can go straight from the notification to the Venues tab of the Favorites page
• Tap a venue with a NEW badge to see the newly added exhibitions

Common stumbling points

• Tapping the heart brings up the login screen — the favorite venues feature requires logging in. After you log in, you’ll return to the venue page, so tap the heart again
• The Venues tab stays empty — add venues from the heart button on a venue page. If you can’t find the venue you’re looking for, you can search by venue name from the search box at the top of the tab
• No notification for new exhibitions — you need both notification permission and the “New exhibitions at favorite venues” switch turned on. See Get notifications for the steps
