Your first 3 steps

New to Bijusanpo?

Bijusanpo lets you find “exhibitions you can visit today” in 3 simple steps.

Step 1. Pick a date

When you open the top page, exhibitions are first shown for today’s date.

If you want to go on a different day, tap the date at the top of the screen and switch to the day you want. You can search around weekends, public holidays, travel dates, or any day you can go.

Step 2. See exhibitions you can visit

Only the exhibitions actually open on the date you picked appear in the list. Closed days and exhibitions outside their run are filtered out automatically.

You can narrow down further by area. Switch to the map view to get a sense of how far each one is from your current location.

Special openings and closures in lieu on holidays

On public holidays and consecutive holidays, some museums have a special opening even on their usual closed day. Conversely, they may have a closure in lieu on the day after a public holiday.

Bijusanpo shows a “May open specially” or “May be closed in lieu” badge on the relevant exhibitions, but please check the venue’s official website for the final opening status.

Step 3. Check the details

Tap an exhibition you’re interested in to go to its detail page. You can check the Dates, Opening hours, Admission, and Access to the venue all in one place.

If you decide you want to go, tap the heart to save it to your “Want to go” list. We’ll send you a notification as the end of its run approaches (notifications must be set up).
